Okay, it's late and I'm not going to go on for very long. But I've finally seen the Florida quarter. For those of you just joining in from outside the U.S. (and I know you're out there...somewhere) the national mint for the past five-plus years has been issuing quarters with images representing a particular state on it's reverse. The coins have been released in the order that the states joined the union, at a rate of five per year. And no, the former Confederate states only get one coin, not two.
At any rate, look at the Florida quarter's reverse. It seems to me that it looks a little...incomplete? Like it would look better with, say, Mouse ears and a giant mosquito? I have to wonder...
